GS Weekend Excellence is a comprehensive General Studies programme for UPSC prelims and mains preparation. The programme has been specially designed for busy working professionals, College/University students and married aspirants. The classes would run on Saturdays and Sundays every week. GS Mains has gone tremendous change in the last 5 years in terms of syllabus expansion and the consequent increase in overall weightage of GS in the civil services main examination. Moreover, the weightage of GS in Preliminary examination has increased to 100% owing to exclusion of the optional paper. Thus, the programme has been accurately crafted keeping in mind the contemporary requirements of the examination.
It covers exhaustive classes for all the mains papers containing History, Art & Culture, Geography, Indian Polity & Governance, International Relations, Indian Society, Economy, Ethics, Ecology & Environment, Science & Technology, Internal Security and Disaster Management. It also covers General studies syllabi for all subjects of prelims including CSAT. Essay writing technique will be taught meticulously to cover all the facets of Essay examination.
