Assam Public Service Commission (APSC)

APSC deals with the matters related to the state service. The top ranked posts of APSC are Assam Civil Service (ACS)- Class 1 Magistrate and Assam Police Service (APS). The APSC also conducts Departmental Examinations for different categories of Government officers including All India Service Officers serving under the Government of Assam.

Apart from the aforementioned posts, there are other posts in various departments like Finance and Accounts officer, Insurance Medical officer, Assam local fund Audit service, Assistant Conservator of Forests (AFS-Class-1), Forest ranger, Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Circle officer, Food and Civil Supplies Inspector, posts in the Tax Department, Agriculture, Industry, Excise, Public Works Department (Engineering), PHE, Irrigation, Water Resource, etc.
